NEW YouTube channel announcement!

Hello Beautiful Soul-Birthers!

I have some exciting news to share with y’all.

I just recently launched my very own YouTube channel!  In the past week, I recorded and uploaded my first two videos–and for someone who is not the most savvy tech person, this is a HUGE accomplishment.  I hate to admit it, but I have had stage fright related to public speaking my entire life! Because this was the cause of struggles with anxiety, I was determined to find ways to avoid it and substituted more comfortable ways of using my voice–like writing–rather than public speaking.  

The only reason I was able to drum up enough courage to actually launch a YouTube channel is because it was a required pre-requisite to submitting my book proposal to a publishing company.  I almost had a panic attack when I found out that all major book publishers now insist on social media platforms as part of the criteria for all book proposal from all would-be authors.

Ironically, I have no problem speaking one-on-one–or even on camera during Telehealth sessions all day with my clients.  But change the setting to a public platform and I all but break out in a cold sweat!  

I have some very important things to say in my prescriptive teaching memoir, “Midwife of the Soul: From Trauma to Triumph”.  So, I was determined not to allow my discomfort with putting myself “out there” in the public arena of social media to take precedence over my passion to birth this book. 

So, here I am, humbly asking my readers and followers of my website to please find me on YouTube.  The name of my channel is, of course, “Midwife of the Soul”.

I was living in West Texas in 1975 when I had a precognitive dream of looking out my kitchen window and seeing this view. In 2018, living in the house I saw in my dream so long ago became a reality. This is the view from my kitchen window!
